Motul ACU British Motocross Championship | Round 8 - Blaxhall

The Motul ACU British Motocross Championship heads to the East Coast for Blaxhall and Round Eight, the final round of the 2026 season, and while two champions have already been crowned, there's still two title fights that go right down to the wire in Suffolk.

In the RFX 125 class, Drew Stock wrapped up the 2026 British Championship in style at Duns and arrives at Blaxhall with the number one plate secured on 323 points. Joel Winstanley-Dawson sits second on 226, just 4 points clear of Harley Marczak in third on 222, with Archie Stapley fourth on 198 ahead of Hayden Statt on 188 in fifth and Lucas Moncrieff completing the top six on 185. With the title already settled, it's all to play for behind Stock as that group fights it out for the runner-up spot.

The MX2 class also has its champion. Charlie Heyman secured the 2026 British MX2 title at Duns and leads the way into Blaxhall on 298 points, with Gyan Doensen his closest challenger 55 points back in second. Ben Mustoe sits third on 205, just 5 points ahead of Tommy Searle in fourth on 200, with Joe Brookes and Billy Askew locked together on 185 rounding out the top six. Just 20 points cover third through sixth, so expect that battle to run all the way to the flag.

In the JMR U21 championship, Heyman is sitting top on 303 points with Doensen 42 behind in second. Ben Mustoe holds third on 221, with Charlie Richmond fourth on 205, Ollie Colmer fifth on 200, and Billy Askew rounding out the top six on 198 - just 23 points separating third from sixth heading into the deciding races at Blaxhall.

Moving onto the Apico MX1 class, this is the one still very much alive. Conrad Mewse heads to Blaxhall on 315 points, with Oriol Oliver keeping the pressure on 26 points back in second. Ben Watson sits third on 276, just 13 points further back and still in the fight, with Taylor Hammal fourth on 209, Tristan Purdon fifth on 199, and Tom Grimshaw completing the top six on 168. With the gap at the top still very much alive, MX1 is the class where the 2026 British Championship will be decided in Suffolk.
